Marcos Jr. leads post-filing survey at 57% - #SukatngBayan Special

Updated: Oct 30, 2021

Following up on the firm's quarterly Sukat ng Bayan, iOptions Ventures conducted another special poll the week after the CoC filing period which ended on October 8, 2021.

Results show that Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. still leads the race at 57%, but with a much larger gap from his runner-up. While the September survey showed Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso faring in second place, the post-filing results find Vice President Leni Robredo overtaking the former with 18% of votes, versus the Manila mayor's 13%.

In these two studies, Sen. Ping Lacson and Sen. Manny Pacquiao retain a consistent percentage of votes.

For the Vice Presidential race, Bong Go, Senate President Vicente Sotto III, and Dr. Willie Ong are currently statistically tied at 24-25%.

Sukat ng Bayan 2021 - Post-Filing Special

This independent, non-commissioned study, which reached 2,000 respondents from all over the Philippines, was conducted online from October 9-16, 2021.

Convenience sampling was utilized as the sampling scheme. Specifically, the survey, hosted on SurveyMonkey, was publicized on Facebook for respondents to voluntarily answer. This was supplemented by efforts of reaching out via email and SMS to our existing respondent database (who had previously consented to being contacted for future studies). This means the results of the survey shall not be construed as representative of the Filipino population, and is skewed heavily towards Facebook as the source of respondents.
